Governor Janet Mills is issuing a Call to Service through a coordinated statewide Day of Service. This is truly a great start to 2019 and there will be more than 1,200 volunteer opportunities all over Maine. LVA will be one of the sites. We encourage everyone to think about the ways they can give back to the community. Literacy is the foundation for so much – please join us from 10am to Noon on Saturday, January 5th at our office – meet members of our Board of Directors, a tutor and learner, the Director, tour our site and help out making learning tools. Refreshments too!
